National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

DEA National Takeback Day is Oct. 24.
In recognition of the DEA’s National Take Back Day, Student Well-Being and University Police will host a prescription take back event 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24. in the Havener Center Atrium.
Participants can drop off expired or unused medications, receive information about safe prescription drug disposal and learn about drop box locations on campus. Free resources will be available, including bottle locking caps, medication deactivation bags and information about Narcan availability.
A prescription drug disposal box is also available 24/7 inside the University Police Station at 205 W. 12th St.
