Luks named Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor

Dr. Christi Luks, a teaching professor and associate chair of the Linda and Bipin Doshi Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, has been named a Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor. 

The University of Missouri Board of Curators awards this title to honor outstanding professors, call attention to teaching excellence and foster improvements in teaching and learning. 

Luks, who is the 2025-26 president of the American Society for Engineering Education, joined Missouri S&T in 2014 as an associate teaching professor and was promoted to teaching professor in 2019.
