Dr. Kate Drowne, assistant provost for faculty affairs, will lead an information session and panel discussion on sabbatical leaves 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Room G-7 (the CAFE faculty development studio) of Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

According to CRR 340.070, “Tenured faculty members are eligible to apply for a sabbatical leave after six or more years of service, and can reapply for subsequent sabbatical leaves six years after the prior sabbatical leave. Sabbatical leaves may be taken for a period of time up to a full year. A faculty member on a sabbatical leave will receive up to one-half of their regular annual salary. Additional travel funds and leave related expenses may be provided as deemed appropriate.”

Sabbatical applications for fall 2027 are due to the colleges later this semester, so all interested faculty are invited to attend this session to learn more about the process.

Direct any questions to Drowne at kdrowne@mst.edu.
