Come celebrate S&T’s Purple Heart University designation and Military Appreciation Day

Missouri S&T invites the campus and community to a celebration that honors the university’s official designation as a Purple Heart University. The designation recognizes S&T’s commitment to Purple Heart recipients and military-connected students. The event also commemorates the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army and Navy.
Saturday, Nov. 1
Location: Lot X-38 (north of Allgood-Bailey Stadium) and Jackling Field
Schedule:
- 10:30 a.m. – Military static display
- 11 a.m.–12:45 p.m. – Complimentary tailgate lunch
- 1 p.m. – Miner football vs. William Jewell University
All military service members and their families will receive free admission to the football game.
