Attend the unveiling of Gary Havener’s statue Oct. 31

Missouri S&T will host a celebration to unveil a statue honoring benefactor Gary Havener at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the Rolla Building Pedestrian Plaza. The statue commemorates Havener’s historic $25 million gift, which made the Havener Arrival Complex possible.
Havener, a 1962 mathematics graduate, has supported S&T for over four decades through philanthropy, leadership and service. His contributions include support for the Havener Center, Toomey Hall, Bertelsmeyer Hall, the Kummer Student Design Center, and multiple scholarship and academic initiatives.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the unveiling and celebrate Havener’s lasting impact.
