Bring unused medication to take-back event tomorrow

DEA National Takeback Day is Oct. 24.
In recognition of the DEA National Takeback Day, student well-being and University Police will hold a prescription take-back event 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in the Havener Center atrium.
Participants can drop off expired or unused medications and receive information about safe medication disposal, prescription drug drop-box locations, bottle-locking caps, bags to deactivate medications before disposing, and NARCAN availability on campus. A prescription drug disposal box is available 24/7 inside the University Police station, located at 205 W. 12th Street.
