Crews working on last week’s planned heating outage in Toomey Hall discovered a leak in the building’s heating system that requires additional repairs. As a result, Toomey Hall will experience another temporary heating outage beginning Monday afternoon, Sept. 29. Heating service is expected to be restored by Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 1.
During the outage, air circulating in the building will remain around 60°F due to the inability to reheat the air. Occupants should expect cooler indoor conditions and dress accordingly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as teams work to complete this repair. For questions or concerns, please contact Bradley Clay, senior assistant director of construction services.
