Faculty play a critical role in supporting student success, and effective advising is central to that mission. Faculty are invited to attend the Fall Advising Input Summit noon-12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in St. Pat’s Ballroom B of the Havener Center. A follow-up discussion will be held at the same time and location on Wednesday, Sept. 24. Lunch will be provided.

The Advising Input Summit is designed to bring faculty and advising staff together to:

  • Share strategies and best practices that strengthen the advising experience.
  • Learn about new tools, policies and resources that support student progress.
  • Build connections across departments to create a more coordinated approach to advising.

“We encourage you to attend both sessions, though we understand if your schedule only allows you to participate in one,” says Kristin Salas, senior director of academic advising. “Your involvement will help shape a more supportive and effective advising environment for our students.”

Please register online. For questions, reach out to Salas or Leticia Steffen, assistant vice chancellor for academic achievement and enrichment.
