The State Historical Society of Missouri’s Rolla Research Center will host a free screening at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library. Area resident Donald Love will introduce two new short documentaries, Shannondale, By Heart and By Hand and Shannondale, A Forest Gospel. The films highlight the history of the Shannondale community and were made possible by grants from Missouri Humanities and the LAD Foundation.
