Celebrate the Mars Rover Design Team Friday

The campus community is invited to the Mars Rover World Champion Celebration at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, in the Innovation Lab Forum. Snacks will be provided.
The Missouri S&T Mars Rover Design Team won first place overall, claiming their second world championship, at the 2025 University Rover Challenge. Out of 114 teams from 15 countries, only 38 finalists competed.
Leaders at the celebration will include Dr. David Borrok, dean and vice provost of the College of Engineering and Computing, Alivia Dean, interim director of the Student Design and Experiential Learning Center, and Dr. Melanie Mormile, professor of biological science and faculty advisor.
