Beginner-level supercomputing tutorial offered Sept. 12

Ever wondered what a supercomputer is and how it can accelerate research? Missouri S&T invites faculty, staff and students to a beginner-friendly workshop that demystifies high-performance computing (HPC) and guides participants through the basics of getting started. No prior experience is required.
Attendees will learn what a supercomputer is, what the Mill is, and how HPC can benefit their work. The event will be held 10 a.m.- noon Friday, Sept. 12, in the Innovation Lab Forum.
All participants must register in advance and create an HPC account. This is required for the interactive lab portion of the event.
