Get ready: Opening Week 2025 starts Monday

Opening Week kicks off the fall semester, welcoming new students to Missouri S&T. Students will connect with mentors, explore campus resources and student organizations, and work in teams to design and race remote-controlled cars in the Project X competition at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22. The new student convocation at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, in Gale Bullman Building marks the official start of the S&T experience. Please avoid scheduling conflicting events at that time.

- Miner Move-in (first-year students): 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, Innovation Lab
- Lawn-a-Palooza: 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, Innovation Lab Lawn
- Convocation: 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, Gibson Arena in the Gale Bullman Building
- Race Day (Project X RC car): 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22
