The proposal development unit in Research and Innovation will host an information session on the W.M. Keck Foundation funding program 2-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center.

The Keck Foundation supports high-risk, high-reward medical, science and engineering projects that often fall outside the scope of traditional federal funding. Projects are typically early-stage, interdisciplinary and have the potential for transformative impact.

The session will provide an overview of Keck’s funding priorities and processes, Missouri S&T’s internal limited submission process and strategies for developing a competitive concept paper.

Faculty considering proposals for the June 2026 or December 2026 Keck funding cycles, as well as those seeking to learn more about the program, are encouraged to attend.
