Windows 11 transition progress

As of Monday, July 14, 95% of Windows computers on campus are running Windows 11.
In 2023, the S&T information technology team began work on a transition to the Windows 11 operating system and started communicating with employees, so campus computers comply with UM System information security policies and guidelines.
If you have a Windows 10 computer that is no longer needed and ready to be taken to surplus, request an IT pickup.
Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 on Oct. 14, 2025. IT has a goal to transition all managed computers running Windows 10 off the main network by the end of September 2025.
Who is affected?
