S&T’s American Nuclear Society earns national recognition

The S&T student section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) has once again been recognized for excellence, earning an honorable mention for the national organization’s Samuel J. Glasstone Award. According to the ANS website, this award is presented annually to the student section that “accomplished the most notable achievements in public service and the advancement of nuclear engineering.”
This marks the third year in a row that S&T’s ANS section has received national recognition, following back-to-back first place finishes in the previous two years. Competing against student sections from universities across the country, this achievement highlights the dedication, leadership and hard work of S&T students.
