Dr. Christi Luks, teaching professor and associate chair of the Linda and Bipin Doshi Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, is now president of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Luks’ term as president began in June after the ASEE annual conference in Montreal, Canada.
Luks’ experience with ASEE dates to 1998 when she attended a conference hosted by the organization in Rolla. Over the past few decades, she has presented at and organized multiple ASEE events and has received several awards from the organization. She has previously served as president-elect, vice president for professional interest councils and vice president for member affairs.
