161 students initiated into Order of the Engineer at Missouri S&T

On Wednesday, May 8, a total of 161 students from across the College of Engineering and Computing at Missouri S&T were initiated into the Order of the Engineer. This is the most initiates in recent history. An additional 21 students were initiated at Missouri State University.

During the Order of the Engineer ceremony, engineers take an oath to uphold ethical standards and use technology responsibly to benefit humanity. Inductees receive a stainless-steel ring to symbolize their commitment to ethical engineering practices.
