United Healthcare mammogram van returns to S&T May 22

The United Healthcare mammogram van will be on campus for Missouri S&T staff and faculty 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, May 22, outside the Innovation Lab. Screening appointments can be scheduled by calling 314-251-6300, option 0.
Costs will be billed to participants’ health plans. Eligibility for the program requires participants to be at least 40 years old, able to use steps and stand for the exam, and have at least one year since their last screening. Individuals ages 35-39 should confirm insurance coverage before scheduling an appointment. Staff and faculty who used the van for a mammogram last year are eligible for coverage again this year.
Uninsured individuals should notify the scheduler, as they may qualify for United Healthcare’s Free Mammogram Program.
