Research and innovation welcomes research security officer

The office of the vice chancellor of research and innovation welcomes Jessica Graham, research security officer, to Missouri S&T. Graham brings extensive experience as a research security professional in both academic and federal government settings.

Her previous roles included senior research security analyst at Mississippi State University and export compliance specialist at Vanderbilt University. Graham also spent 10 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she specialized in national security investigations and collaborated with U.S. universities to address foreign threats to research and development.

A graduate of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Germany, she worked alongside global security experts to strengthen international collaboration. Graham holds a master’s degree from Mississippi College and has taught English and world literature at Belhaven University in Mississippi and Union University in Tennessee. Her international experience includes two years in China, where she worked with a nonprofit organization to provide medical and educational support to tribal communities in Yunnan Province. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Graham brings a unique global perspective to her work.
