Windows 11 transition process

In 2023, the S&T information technology team began work on a transition to the Windows 11 operating system and started communicating with employees so campus computers comply with UM System information security policies and guidelines. This fall Microsoft will no longer support the Windows 10 operating system.
Progress
As of Monday, April 7, IT has replaced or updated 90% of computers to Windows 11.
Who is affected?
All users with campus-managed computers that run Windows 10.
