Cole Rischbieter, a Ph.D. student in physics, and his advisor, Dr. Shun Saito, assistant professor of physics, presented their research at a workshop hosted by the University of Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. Their travel was supported by the University of Missouri South African Education Program, which fosters academic collaboration between the University of Missouri System and the University of the Western Cape.

The presentations were part of a collaborative project, titled “Decoding the Nonlinear Universe,” led by Saito and Dr. Roy Maartens, professor in astronomy and astrophysics of the University of Western Cape.
