Eight Missouri S&T researchers have been recognized by Academic Analytics for ranking in the top 5% of their peers across four or more scholarly activity metrics. This data was calculated before Missouri S&T’s inclusion in the Carnegie R1 category, therefore the peer context is universities in the R2 category.
The honored scholars are:
- Dr. Sajal K. Das, Curators’ Distinguished Professor and Daniel St. Clair Endowed Chair in Computer Science
- Dr. Islam El-Adaway, Hurst-McCarthy Endowed Professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering and associate dean for academic partnerships in the College of Engineering and Computing
- Dr. Hanqing Fang, associate professor of business and information technology
- Dr. Xiaoming He, professor of mathematics and statistics
- Dr. Kamal Khayat, vice chancellor for research and innovation, professor and the Vernon Maralee Jones Chair of Civil Engineering
