BSA hosts Pohela Boishakh 1432 celebration

The Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) at Missouri S&T marked Pohela Boishakh, the Bengali New Year 1432, with a celebration on Saturday, April 19. The event began in the Innovation Lab Forum with an opening ceremony, musical performances, recitations, interactive games and group dance numbers. Approximately 60 students, faculty and staff attended the festivities.
Following the program, attendees enjoyed a traditional Bengali dinner in the McNutt Lobby featuring rice, fish and sweets.
