From S&T to Apple: Meet the co-inventor of AirDrop Thursday

Join Kummer Student Programs for a fireside chat with Peter Heerboth, an S&T alumnus and recipient of the 2024 Missouri S&T Alumni Achievement Award, at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in Room B10 Bertelsmeyer Hall. Heerboth lives in San Jose, California, and joined Apple as a software engineer in 2003. He holds 15 patents including one as co-inventor of Apple’s AirDrop technology. In 2003, he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from S&T.
