S&T faculty, staff and students are invited to join the celebration of our graduates by volunteering as a commencement ambassador in May. Commencement ambassadors ensure graduates and their guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, helping them to their seats, answering questions, guiding graduates and maintaining a positive atmosphere for families and friends.
The following shifts are available on Saturday, May 17:
- 8:30 a.m.-noon for the 10 a.m. bachelors and master’s degree ceremony.
- 2-5 p.m. for the 3 p.m. bachelor’s and master’s degree ceremony.
- 5-6 p.m. for clean-up crew.
Lunch will be provided to the morning shift workers on Saturday, May 17. If you are an exempt employee and your supervisor allows, you are permitted to use flex time that week. Please register online to volunteer at one or more shifts.
