Are you interested in solving national security challenges but don’t see yourself joining the military or becoming a federal employee? Learn how you can navigate the $850 billion fiscal year 2025 Department of Defense budget, identify key decision-makers and secure funding for your ideas.

Join Dr. Bull Holland, director of education at BMNT Inc. and a Missouri S&T alumnus, for an interactive discussion that offers strategies to access funding, present ideas effectively and explore how public-sector innovation differs from private-sector innovation. The session will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C in the Havener Center and via Zoom.

Holland is also an adjunct faculty member at North Carolina State University and a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel with more than 23 years of service. He founded the Innovation Corps at the U.S. Department of Defense and co-founded the Advancing Concept Office, which drives military innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering management from Missouri S&T and is an award-winning author.
