Nominations are open for the Remington R. Williams Award, the University of Missouri System’s highest non-academic honor for students. This award recognizes an exceptional S&T student for leadership, service and character. Any student, faculty or staff member may nominate a student for the award. The deadline is Friday, Jan. 31.
The awardee will receive a $1,000 monetary award, a leadership medal to wear at graduation, and recognition at the Board of Curators meeting hosted at S&T in April.

Nomination requirements include the nomination form, letter of support and unofficial S&T transcript.
Previous S&T recipients are Martin De La Hunt in 2023 and Ryan Highfill in 2024. The award is given in memory of Remington R. Williams for his outstanding service as student representative to the University of Missouri Board of Curators (2020-2022), a role in which he served as a champion for undergraduate and graduate students.
