The Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Damien Rongey, a senior in environmental science with minors in geology, biology and sustainability. He held a leadership role in ECO Miners as the recycling coordinator.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, located at 111 E. Liberty St. in Farmington, Missouri. A visitation will be held before the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m. 

Members of Missouri S&T student well-being counseling staff are available to assist students affected by Rongey’s passing.
