Hathaway named COER director

The Division of Student Success welcomes Sara Hathaway as director for career opportunities and employer relations. She started her role on Nov. 1.
Before joining S&T, Hathaway served as executive director of career services at Western Colorado University, where she incorporated career development and readiness across departments and aligned career services to the university’s strategic goal of advancing professional pathways to drive career success. She has served as director of career and professional development at Ripon College in Wisconsin and is active with the National Association of Colleges and Employers, including previously co-leading a national affinity group.
Hathaway earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a bachelor’s degree from Marian University. She is also a Certified Career Services Provider.
