Carmen Gassaway, a junior in electrical engineering, received the IEEE Power and Energy Society’s (PES) Scholarship. This recognition highlights her academic achievements and commitment to advancing the power and energy field.
Gassaway deepened her interest in power and energy systems through an internship with Burns and McDonnell’s substation group. She is a Kummer Vanguard Scholar, serves as an officer in Eta Kappa Nu, the electrical and computer engineering honor society, and is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society.
