Buchely presents strip casting research at international symposium

Dr. Mario Buchely, assistant professor of materials science and engineering, recently presented the Peaslee Steel Manufacturing Research Center research at the 2024 International Symposium on Strip Casting Technology in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China. His presentation was titled “Advancements in Dip-Testing Technology for Improved Strip Casting Analysis in High Si-Steels.”
In addition to the technical presentation, Buchely and the conference attendees visited the Shangang Steel plant, part of the Shangang Group Co., a leading steel producer in China. The visit provided insights into the latest advancements in steel production and processing.
