Ph.D. student presents multiple papers

Ademola Adesokan, a Ph.D. student in computer science, presented two papers and published one over the summer session. 

In July, Adesokan’s paper titled “CURD: Context-aware Relevance and Urgency Determination” was presented at the 36th International Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management in Rennes, France. Additionally, his work “FReCS: A First Responder Classification System” was presented at the 16th International Conference on Advances in Social Networks Analysis and Mining in September in Rende, Italy.

A third paper, “DisFact: Fact-Checking Disaster Claims,” was accepted for the 25th International Web Information Systems Engineering Conference in Doha, Qatar. This paper will be presented and published in December.
