Aruna Miller, Maryland lieutenant governor and a Missouri S&T alumna, will speak at the university Wednesday, Dec. 4, as part of the Chancellor’s Speaker Series.

Miller’s presentation will begin at 5 p.m. in the Innovation Lab Forum with a reception to follow. The event is free, but interested attendees are asked to RSVP at speakerseries.mst.edu.

In her talk, titled “STEM to Leadership: Solving for Tomorrow Beyond Engineering,” Miller will discuss her career in public service and how a foundation in science, technology, engineering and math can open doors to roles outside of the traditional scope of engineering.
