Commencement ambassadors are the magic-makers who ensure graduates and their guests have the smoothest and most enjoyable experience possible. We count on them to make commencement a successful event. 

Ambassador responsibilities include helping guests to their seats, answering questions, guiding graduates and maintaining a positive atmosphere for families and friends of graduates.

If you are interested in serving as an ambassador for one or more ceremonies this December, register online. The ceremony dates and times are as follows:

• Ph.D. candidates will be recognized at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
• Bachelor’s and master’s candidates will be recognized, split by discipline,10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.

Lunch will be provided for the 10 a.m. Saturday shift workers.

Commencement ambassadors are invited to attend a complimentary appreciation lunch Thursday, Dec. 12. If you are an exempt employee and your supervisor allows, you can use flex time that week.
