ASCE past president to speak

The S&T student chapters of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) are hosting the 2024 ASCE president and S&T alumna Marsia Geldert-Murphey for a talk 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall and on Zoom.
Geldert-Murphey, a 1997 master’s graduated in civil engineering, will discuss how ASCE envisions building a better infrastructure system through engineering and advancing an inclusive and equitable society.
S&T’s chapters of AEI and ASCE are co-hosting the event with civil, architectural and environmental engineering.
