Show up to The S&T Store in your Halloween costume and enter the costume contest. Photo Tom Wagner/Missouri S&T: Haunted Mine Halloween event in the Experimental Mine at Missouri S&T. Approximately 30 students of the Mining Program turn the mine, usually used for teaching at the university, into a winding maze of Halloween installations to scare the public in this yearly fundraising event for the department. Stop by The S&T Store to enter the annual Halloween costume contest 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places.
