Missouri S&T gets jazzy with their fall ensemble concert

The arts, languages and philosophy department will present a jazz ensemble concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Leach theatre.
The jazz ensemble will perform pieces by artists including Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Dizzy Gillespie and Gordon Goodwin. The ensemble is directed by Matthew Sokeland, jazz lecturer at S&T.
Tickets are $5 for the public and free to Missouri S&T students with a valid ID and youth ages 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office starting one hour before the performance. You can also purchase tickets online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online.
