Join the India Association of Missouri S&T for a vibrant celebration of Diwali 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, starting at the Jack Carney Puck and Plaza then moving to the lawn of Havener Center at 8 p.m. Admission is free, and the event is open to everyone. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, hope over despair and good over evil. It’s a time to celebrate positivity, warmth and the light within everyone that guides and inspires.

The campus and local community are invited to celebrate the festivities. Expect an evening filled with cultural performances, music and dances that showcase the traditions of Diwali. Later, gather with friends and community as everyone lights up the night with a fireworks display, marking the spirit of the festival.
