Auditions for the spring 2025 University Wind Symphony will begin at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in Castleman Hall. The works to be performed in the spring include “God of our Fathers” by Claude T. Smith, “Mother Earth” by David Maslanka, “(Un)veiling” by Tyler S. Grant, “Aesop’s Fables” by Scott Watson, and “Suite from MASS” by Leonard Bernstein, arranged by Michael Sweeney.
Audition material is available on the arts, languages and philosophy website and sign-up sheets are located outside the Band Room, located in Room 137 Castleman Hall. Anyone who plays a band instrument is encouraged to audition. Oboe and bassoon players are especially needed.
