Study abroad in South Africa with the Henry Mitchell Scholarship

Study at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), a longtime partner of the University of Missouri, in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. All current undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for the $4,000 Henry Mitchell Scholarship.
The undergrad semester starts Monday, Feb. 10, 2025.
You can participate in a semester exchange with one of UWC’s faculty.
For graduate students, Professor Rodney Uphoff, director of the University of Missouri South African Education Program, will assist in attempting to link the applicant up with a UWC faculty member. Scholarship applications are due Tuesday, Oct. 1.
To apply, submit the following materials by email to Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe, professor of earth sciences and engineering,no later than Tuesday, Oct. 1.
• Completed application form.
• Description of the research project (for graduate applicants only).
