The Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) hosted its Fall 2024 Freshers’ commemorating the martyrs of their independence from 1971 to 2024. The event welcomed 11 new undergraduate and graduate students on Friday, Aug 30, in the commons of McNutt Hall.
Douglas Roberts, chief of University Police for S&T, and Dr. P. K. Bhowmik, a scientist at Idaho National Lab and former BSA President, were guest speakers inspiring students with their words of wisdom.
Chief Roberts presented awards to the new students, followed by the recognition of the BSA fall 2024 cricket tournament-winning team.
