Tewari wins outstanding advisor award

Dr. Sanjay Tewari, associate teaching professor for civil, architectural and environmental engineering, received the 2024 Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for Region 7. The award recognizes faculty advisors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and support to their ASCE student chapter.
Region 7 includes Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. The ASCE Governors, Directors, and the award committee announced on July 13 that Dr. Tewari was the winner of the 2024 Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award for mentoring, guiding, and helping students.
