Missouri S&T now offers Narcan for free to all students and employees who request it. Through the efforts of the S&T Prevention Coalition, student well-being and University Police, students and employees can pick up Narcan 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from the student well-being office, located in Room 204 Norwood Hall.

This program aligns with other University of Missouri System campuses and Missouri’s statewide Get MO Naloxone campaign. Narcan is an FDA-approved, over-the-counter, life-saving medication designed to rapidly reverse an opioid overdose. Narcan will be provided judgment-free and anonymously, and no personal information will be collected. It will include instructions on how and when to use it.

In addition to the student well-being office, Narcan is available at all university residence hall front desks, and University Police officers always carry Narcan.

For more information about Narcan and information about opioid overdose, visit the student well-being Narcan website.
