Family and Friends Weekend will take place Friday, Sept. 20, through Sunday, Sept. 22. The weekend will feature various activities for the families and friends of students.

Friday’s events include an autumnal equinox celebration, a fraternity and sorority carnival, and Glamour and Gatsby, a beginner’s dance lesson, by S&T’s Aerial Dance and Swing Club. Saturday will feature a welcome breakfast and parent resource fair, followed by the Celebration of Nations parade. Attendees can then choose between cheering on the Miners at a football game against the Quincy University Hawks or enjoying the Second City’s comedy show, “Mo’ Funny, Less Problems,” at Leach Theatre.

Departments or student organizations interested in hosting an event or open house during the weekend should contact Pamela Williams, program and project support coordinator for student success, at family@mst.edu to have it added to the schedule of events.
