Missouri S&T now has Narcan available for free to all S&T students and employees who request it! Through the work of the S&T Prevention Coalition, Student Well-Being, and University Police, students and employees can pick up Narcan from the Student Well-Being office, 204 Norwood Hall, during normal business hours.
This program is consistent with other UMSystem schools and Missouri’s statewide Get MO Naloxone campaign. Narcan is an FDA approved, over the counter, life-saving medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. Narcan will be given judgement free, anonymously (personal information will not be collected), and will come with directions on how and when to use it.
Outside of the Student Well-Being office, Narcan is available at all university residence hall front desks, and University Police officers always carry Narcan on their person. Click here for more information about Narcan and other resources on campus.
