Mochalin co-authors chapter, paper

Dr. Vadym Mochalin, associate professor of chemistry, and Dr. Shuohan Huang, a former doctoral student, co-authored a chapter, titled “MXene thermal and chemical stability and degradation mechanism” in Transition Metal Carbides and Nitrides (MXenes) Handbook: Synthesis, Processing, Properties and Applications, published by Wiley & Sons. Huang is currently an assistant professor at Donghua University in Shanghai.
Mochalin, along with collaborators from two universities in Kazakhstan, published an article, titled “MXene filled hydrogel and aerogel composites” in Materials Today. With an impact factor of 26.9, Materials Today published by Elsevier is one of the top journals in materials science.
