Join the Campus Impact Challenge, win scholarship funding

Are you ready to make a difference in just 24 hours? All undergraduate students are invited to participate in a 24-hour Campus Impact Challenge. The challenge will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, and conclude at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Challenge overview:

  • Team collaboration: Students will be grouped into teams to tackle real-world challenges that affect the S&T campus or local community.
  • Problem-solving: Teams will observe and analyze a specific issue, identify key stakeholders and understand the barriers involved.
  • Innovative solutions: Brainstorm and develop actionable strategies to address and improve the identified challenge.

Presentation requirements:

  • Summarize the findings and solutions in a three-slide PowerPoint presentation and present it in under five minutes.

Scholarship prizes:

  • First place: $200 for each team member.
  • Second place: $150 for each team member.
  • Third place: $100 for each team member.

Additional perks:

All participants will receive a voucher for dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
