The Office of the Provost now requires all students, faculty and staff to receive prior approval to travel internationally on behalf of the university, which follows the U.S. Department of State recommendations. Students traveling internationally are required to get approval from their department chair, college dean and provost for countries designated a level 1-4 risk.
Faculty and staff are required to get approval from their department chair and college dean for countries designated a level 1-2 risk. Faculty and staff are required to get approval from their department chair, college dean and provost for countries designated a level 3-4 risk.
Students, faculty and staff must register their travel on the new S&T travel registration platform. The platform is now open and can be found on the international travel website.
If you are not employed by an academic department or college, you will need approval from the administrative leader of your office using the departmental travel authorization form. You do not need approval from a dean.
