At midnight on Saturday, July 27, S&T’s information technology team will send updates to the AppsAnywhere and Cloudpaging Player clients. AppsAnywhere and Cloudpaging Player allow you to install applications on demand without contacting IT. These updates are to fix some ongoing issues and to ensure compatibility with an upcoming AppsAnywhere server update.
Your machine will be rebooted during the update process. Please leave your computer plugged in and powered on before the update to avoid the update triggering when you return. The update will take approximately 30 minutes; please allow ample time to begin work.
Who is affected?
All managed Windows campus computers except the computers in computer learning centers and classrooms.
Why is this happening?
This update will fix ongoing issues in the current versions and prepare for the upcoming AppsAnywhere server update.
What is changing?
A new version of AppsAnywhere and Cloudpaging Player will be installed on your computer. As part of this update, your computer will restart several times. There will be a five-minute warning given before the machine restarts to allow you to save your work.
