Staff celebrate service milestones in March, April and May

The university presents the following benefit-eligible staff who have reached milestones in their career with a certificate honoring their contributions, beginning with five years of service. The following employees received milestone service recognition awards in March, April and May.

35 years of service 

  • Patty Smith, business support specialist for the Materials Research Center.

  • William Walker, head men’s basketball coach for athletics and recreation. 

10 years of service 

  • Michelle Bresnahan, director for environmental health and safety. 
  • Valerie Moersch, senior student support specialist for student finance assistance.

25 years of service 

  • Gayle Spitzmiller, office support associate for the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies. 

40 years of service 

  • Krista Chambers, senior executive assistant for the provost.
